Casa 71 grows from the transformation of an apartment in Lecce, where the living area is recomposed as a single space to move through. Living room, dining area and kitchen become different moments in one continuous sequence.

A long stainless-steel island measures the room and concentrates the work of the kitchen. Beside it, white and timber volumes gather storage and appliances; the concrete column remains visible as a trace of the structure. The pale terrazzo floor connects different materials and furnishings.

The burgundy corridor marks the passage towards the private rooms and changes the temperature of the home. Here colour becomes freer: blue, red, artworks, books and personal objects shape rooms conceived for everyday life. In the bathroom, subdued light and sculptural elements work at a more intimate scale.

The home avoids a uniform image. Each room keeps its own intensity while belonging to the same narrative through proportions, light and recurring materials. To inhabit also means recognising oneself in the differences from one space to another.
